UAL Assignment 2 - Unit 10 - Progression

Strengths and Ambitions For myself as an actor, i would say that my biggest strength is my facial emotion/naturalism. This is something that i find myself doing instinctively, and when picking up a script and reading it, i automatically go to add emotion to the piece. I would also say that i have a good stage presence. When i am on the stage i understand my boundaries but also how to make myself seen, and i pick my moments well to when to increase the energy of the room. As for my weaknesses, i would say a big weakness of mine would me certain genres of acting. For me, i would say my biggest weaknesses as an actor would be playing both loving and comedic roles. It is something that i don't think i do well in real life, therefore using emotional memory to perform these roles become harder. I also think one of my weaknesses is singing. I do not think i am the worst singer in the world however i would love to improve on my voice as i know i have more potential in me. Personal Statemen...

My Production Journey - Production Diaries (Year 2, Term 2)

  Candidate Declaration - I confirm that the attached portfolio is all my own work* and does not include any work completed by anyone other than myself. REHEARSAL'S START Monday 11th November  This morning we were in the Theatre and it was our first official lesson with our new characters. I got Pinocchio! I was so happy when i found out as this is the role i auditioned for and i believe i will be able to do a great deal with it and it will stretch my abilities in all aspects - especially physicality. I look forward to working closely with my cast and bringing this character to life. We started the day as we always do with a few warm-up games including Ninja, Lockers and the Bus Game, as all of these games help us with our imagination and concentration.
