UAL Assignment 1 - Unit 9 - Collaborative Showcase (Year 2, 2024/2025)

Collaborative Showcase - Showreel Comedy, Romance, Hard Hitting Scenes. Team: Quinn, Harriet, Me, Keiran Comedy: THE DUFF. Preparations The first thing that I needed to do to prepare for this clip is find where in the movie I wanted to take the scene from. I've decided to go from the point 30:37 - 32:30 Once i had my scripts, i was able to give one of them to Kieran who is working on this script with me Once all preparations had been in place, we moved onto filming. This was great - setting up all the set, working out camera angles etc. It went smoothly and there were no issues, currently in the editing process. TEN THINGS Everything is the same with this short copycat scene, to be edited! As for the rest of the fringe, me Delroy and Lola my classmates are the creative directors. Exploring Emotional Depth in Duologues from Dear Evan Hansen DUOLOGUE: Evan & Connor     PARTNER: Charlie   Given Circumstances: In this scene, Evan is sat in the computer room after writing out one of the letters he has to write for therapy and prints it out when Connor enters, as usual he is angry and he approaches Evan, making fun of him - this is the first real interaction/conversation with each other the characters have, it is an awkward atmosphere. In this scene, Connor signs Evan's cast and proceeds to grab the letter from the printer, discovering Evan has been writing about his sister, causing him to freak out and become even more angry than usual. UAL Assignment 1 - Unit 9 - Developing Performance and Production Skills (Year 2, 2024)

  Candidate Declaration - I confirm that the attached portfolio is all my own work* and does not include any work completed by anyone other than myself.   Task 1 - Developing your skills  A.  I started my first year at college with easing myself into the year, not going for a role too big as i wanted to not put too much pressure on myself and was quite nervous for what was coming, playing the role of a 'Victorian Newspaper Girl.' During this i learnt a lot and improved as an actor as i had to join the audience at various points throughout. This was great, yet sometimes i could've worked on my cue's and volume. However, this improved my staying in character and in the moment skills. We then swiftly moved on to 'Peter Pan' which was a musical, where i challenged myself a bit more, landing the role of 'Michael Darling,' a supporting role.
