Strengths and Ambitions For myself as an actor, i would say that my biggest strength is my facial emotion/naturalism. This is something that i find myself doing instinctively, and when picking up a script and reading it, i automatically go to add emotion to the piece. I would also say that i have a good stage presence. When i am on the stage i understand my boundaries but also how to make myself seen, and i pick my moments well to when to increase the energy of the room. As for my weaknesses, i would say a big weakness of mine would me certain genres of acting. For me, i would say my biggest weaknesses as an actor would be playing both loving and comedic roles. It is something that i don't think i do well in real life, therefore using emotional memory to perform these roles become harder. I also think one of my weaknesses is singing. I do not think i am the worst singer in the world however i would love to improve on my voice as i know i have more potential in me. Personal Statemen...

REHEARSAL'S START Monday 11th November  This morning we were in the Theatre and it was our first official lesson with our new characters. I got Pinocchio! I was so happy when i found out as this is the role i auditioned for and i believe i will be able to do a great deal with it and it will stretch my abilities in all aspects - especially physicality. I look forward to working closely with my cast and bringing this character to life. We started the day as we always do with a few warm-up games including Ninja, Lockers and the Bus Game, as all of these games help us with our imagination and concentration. Collaborative Showcase - Showreel Comedy, Romance, Hard Hitting Scenes. Team: Quinn, Harriet, Me, Keiran Comedy: THE DUFF. Preparations The first thing that I needed to do to prepare for this clip is find where in the movie I wanted to take the scene from. This was great - setting up all the set, working out camera angles etc. It went smoothly and there were no issues, currently in the editing process. UAL Assignment 1 - Unit 9 - Developing Performance and Production Skills (Year 2, 2024)

Candidate Declaration - I confirm that the attached portfolio is all my own work* and does not include any work completed by anyone other than myself.   Task 1 - Developing your skills  A.  I started my first year at college with easing myself into the year, not going for a role too big as i wanted to not put too much pressure on myself and was quite nervous for what was coming, playing the role of a 'Victorian Newspaper Girl.' During this i learnt a lot and improved as an actor as i had to join the audience at various points throughout. This was great, yet sometimes i could've worked on my cue's and volume. However, this improved my staying in character and in the moment skills. We then swiftly moved on to 'Peter Pan' which was a musical, where i challenged myself a bit more, landing the role of 'Michael Darling,' a supporting role. This was a challenge as i hadn't really had any roles which required a song which made me nervous, however it was a ...

Candidate Declaration - I confirm that the attached portfolio is all my own work* and does not include any work completed by anyone other than myself. Monday 9th September  Today was our first official day back at college and our chance to start officially working with our new first years. We started the year as usual by an introduction to some acting techniques and the Ghost light tours. Improvisation The first half of the morning consisted of getting us back into the rhythm of acting and out of our own headspace, as that is key to being a good actor. We did this by focusing on improvisation. We started with some warm up games we have done before, such as 'What are you doing?' and 'Yes, Lets' which got everyone comfortable in the space and provided an introduction to the day. Yes, lets is the main rule of improvisation, agreeing to what is happening and accepting it, allowing yourself to go with the flow of what is going on in the room. This was a great start to the ...
